Underground is a surreal girl-bites-station photo-film in which resistance, anarchy and the dream-like takes over the contained and oppressive structure of the train station.  Tunnels and passages are rabbit-holes waiting to be fallen into, commuters a hurried, anonymous bunch of train-ticket-heads, and the time-tables and surveillance cameras an Orwellian nightmare-reality.  The technique of stop-motion photo-collage creates and exposes an arbitrary terrain in which time and place become interchangeable and malleable: spaces morph, fragment and flux as an Other landscape is constructed and re-constructed.
